The other web sites also hosted on Lennart's (CA admin - DJet) server are also down at the moment (such as Dave Davies' photos, Matrasport etc).

I've emailed Lennart but he may be on his way to LM by now?

Thanks Steve, it seems to be a year for breakdowns, I've just checked my car over a second time, just in case. :)

Have a good trip down.

Just had a text from Rick, defo ban on Pools, helicopter on patrol, but can they legally impose a €1,000 fine? I guess being french they can do what they want, and if it comes to it simply turn off the water. Shame, but a least the weather is'nt looking to be as hot as last year and 60% chance of thunder Saturday and Sunday.
Rick also said that MB is filling up quickly - so I guess the size police will be out in force, just hope the ACO have'nt over sold.

I'm sure not even the French would turn off the water.

Scenario 1 - super hot weather, standpipes turned off, many beered up spectators - suffering from de-hydration, heat exhaustion / heat stroke, lack of drinking water - medical facilities over run by patients close to blacking out, some in a serious condition - international outrage etc etc.

France had a similar situation last year with plenty of elderly people dying due to the heat and lack of water.

Perhaps THAT is why they imposed a ban on filling pools with water this year ;)

Anyway, as far as I know, elderly people dying during very hot periods is not really due to lack of available water but lack of intake by the elderly themselves. The problem is that older people have less well functioning kidneys, they are often on a low salt diet, they feel less thirsty and thus drink less despite needing more.... it's just a bit of a natural problem really :)

Hi Paddy, didnt make it to the classic then, I WILL do it one year. Unfortunatly I dont think I will make it to Donington either, we have 2 weeks hols booked then and I think I will end up somewhere else!, trying to save up points for Sebring 2007!

I reckon you have been blacklisted, banned, sent to coventry, or just plain old ignored! Never mind I'm sure you'll be forgiven!
