87 days- 23hrs- 50 mins til Sebring 2009! :finish:

It might be a lite Sebring this year. Only 1 Audi & only for Sebring. Audi is only interested in LM this year.
2 LMP1 Acuras will be fun to watch. The Acuras where testing a Sebring this last week. And while the track was off limits they seem to have tested well with few real problems.
Aruras in LMP2, but NO factory Porsches!

LMP2 Mazdas for Dyson. I would love to see Rob Dyson win Sebring, but......

BMW's killer car to GT2 racing against the down sized Corvettes? Making it a Porsche,Ferrari, Aston, Corvette, & BMW fight.

On a different note. While at the orange grove 2 weeks ago, we found that someone had broken into our Party Barge & Bus. They stole our generators, one set of the big Yamaha speakers, canopys, tripod cookers, Our big pots, the pool table light. all the silverware, pots, plates, cups, shot glasses, and a microwave. We will recover, but it just sucks to loose the stuff. They also stole our big grill & a small utility trailer with all of Dave's camp gear in it.

We'll see what the current economics will bring to racing. I can completely understand if manufactors pull out, but at the same time hate to see them go. I guess all teams will have great difficulties to find proper sponsors this year, which will make it all a lot more complicated. I fully agree on a "GT"-class with all manufactors mentioned though! 8)
Weird to see my company going full blast at the moment, while the media is screaming for things to get a lot worse for '09 :(

Wow, sorry about the theft, that's a lot of stuff they got. It will be like "roughing" it at Sebring this year!

Three more weeks, and I will be back in Austin. Moving stuff to RI earlier than planned originally due to the current condition of the house, which needs to be rented out asap. Will spend three weeks doing the house up, and will come back on February 24th. I don't think we can get away with Sebring for this year as we're running out of time and money, very unfortunate... :(

But there's always next year!

As long as I'm in the area I'll definatley be up for some Party Barge Golf, just depends on where we are between Sat 14th and Wednesday 18th. Having a meeting to firm plans up next week! :)

We call these meetings "Pre-Sebring Parties" or "Sebring Planning Parties"....been having one since the 80's. They've just moved from my house to larger locations with the F-Troop All Stars playing and have now even multiplied....we have 2, one on each coast of FL.

If your near Brandenton on 2/21 or West Palm Beach on 3/14, please try to stop by. Just shoot me an e-mail for details. Of course anyone in Florida on those dates is welcome.
