Pedant of the day is far below my level. I'm trying very hard for a lifetime achievement award, but competition is tough :D

Your girlfriend might feel lonely while you're in the States and decide to go shopping for clothes :D

PS: when your money is in an account it is usually not cash, is it ;)

Way to go Petra, you managed again to take an old cow (reply in this case) out of the ditch :D

for our english friends, this means let bygones be bygones.

BTW Petra, what does make you think that her indoors can get to my bank account? I am not that stupid :D Plus, she is actually going with me Stateside!

Oops  I don't very often read this thread, and didn't notice the date of your post :x

BTW: was the old cow really in a ditch, or was she just very drunk? ;)

Meanwhile, back to the diecast theme....I couldn't resist the temptation of owning the Miller liveried 962....1989 Daytona Winner.

A little madness I'm afraid but it fits pretty good in the overall sportscar theme cabinet.

Petra:
Yes, its hard to believe but the pink car is indeed some old Porsche, a 1.43 rd scale model of the 917 that ran at Le Mans in 1971. It is reverentially referred to as the Pink Pig. Here's a pic of the 1/18 scale model. When the box is opened a sound chip makes a pig like snorting sound.

Hey, be nice! It is a noteworthy car for 3 reasons.
1. It is pink.
2. It was very uncompetitive and retired from service.
3. It is the only 917-20 in the world.
